Noku Noodles partnered with Clueflow to create a complete brand identity, product marketing strategy, and packaging design for their new London-based noodle brand focused on authentic flavours, quality ingredients, and convenience.
Creating a modern noodle brand with purpose
Noku Noodles was founded by Nick with a simple but powerful idea — create high-quality noodles that could be enjoyed anywhere, whether at home, at work, or on the go, all ready in just four minutes with hot water.
The problem was clear. Most instant noodles on the market felt artificial, lacked nutritional value, and failed to deliver authentic flavour. Noku aimed to challenge that perception by creating a more premium and flavour-focused alternative.
After discovering Clueflow through Google and exploring our design portfolio on Instagram, Nick reached out looking for a creative agency capable of bringing the brand vision to life through strategy, branding, and packaging design.
Designing packaging that stood out in a crowded market
As a completely new brand entering a highly competitive industry, Noku needed a visual identity capable of immediately attracting attention both on retail shelves and online.
The packaging needed to communicate flavour, authenticity, heat levels, and premium quality while maintaining a clean and modern appearance.
At the same time, the brand identity had to reflect the product’s core values — authentic egg noodles, rich flavour, better ingredients, and convenience without compromise.
Brand identity, packaging & product strategy
We started by researching the noodle market, analysing competitors, and identifying gaps within the industry to understand how Noku could stand apart from existing brands.
From there, we explored creative directions through sketches, moodboards, colour palettes, and packaging concepts while simultaneously developing the logo and overall brand identity.
Nick wanted to launch three core flavours — Soya Beef, Cumin Lamb, and Sticky Pork — each featuring different spice levels. We incorporated this directly into the packaging design using chilli pepper indicators to visually represent the heat intensity of each product.
The final packaging design combined bold typography, authentic food photography, textured dark backgrounds, and flavour-led colour accents to create a clean yet highly distinctive shelf presence.
The result was a modern packaging system that instantly captured attention while reflecting the authentic flavour, premium ingredients, and nutritional value behind the product.

The final Noku packaging successfully delivered a bold and recognisable visual identity that immediately stood out against competing noodle brands both in-store and online.
The clean yet vibrant design approach helped communicate authenticity, flavour, and quality while creating strong shelf impact across all three flavours.
